The MesaLib 7.10.3 tarball has been moved on ftp.freedesktop.org from
pub/mesa/7.10.3/ to pub/mesa/old_versions/7.x/7.10.3/.
A bump to a newer release is only coming after Buildroot 2013.08, so for now
let us just change URL to let the download work properly.

The BR2_PACKAGE_XSERVER_xorg and BR2_PACKAGE_XSERVER_tinyx options
used to select the style of X.org server to use are not named
consistently with the rest of the Buildroot options (in capital
letters and prefixed with the package name).
Therefore, we rename those options, and we take care to add the old
option names in the BR2_LEGACY infrastructure.

mesa3d now generates some C files at build time (related to the OpenGL
API) from XML files. This generation process is done using Python
scripts that require the libxml2 Python module.
Patch based on the initial work of Will Wagner (Thanks Will).

The mesa3d now requires the makedepend host utility, otherwise, it
fails with:
configure: error: makedepend is required to build Mesa

We build mesa3d with dri support, which doesn't work with static builds,
so disable it.
From configure.ac:
dri)
# DRI must be shared, I think
if test "$enable_static" = yes; then
AC_MSG_ERROR([Can't use static libraries for DRI drivers])
fi
At the same time fixup minor style issues (:= vs =, long lines).

There's no particular reason why you shouldn't be able to build mesa
without the X server (E.G. for remote X), so remove it.

Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the
AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to
repeat its name and the directory in which it is present.

kdrive has no glx support, and mesa3d depends on libdrm which needs
largefile support (just like the modular server), so ensure mesa3d
can only be enabled in that configuration.

Now that <pkg>_INSTALL_TARGET_OPT always defaults to
'DESTDIR=$(TARGET_DIR) install', we can remove the
<pkg>_INSTALL_TARGET_OPT definition from a lot of packages.

Closes#559.
Without the LDFLAGS in the build configuration file
building mesa3d fails with an external toolchain on amd64
machines targeting i686. The error indicats that libX11
can't be found.
This change passes the --sysroot parameter (along with any
others specified by buildroot for LDFLAGS to the mklib script.

mesa wants to compile and run gen_matypes at build time, so make sure it
gets compiled for the host and not for the target.

quite work yet for me, but this clearly is a huge project and not having it
quite work on the first pass is hardly unexpected. We definately want this
stuff in buildroot.
