All these issues are now fixed in the glibc 2.26 stable branch. Backport patches from glibc 2.26 stable branch related to bug 21930. Take all patches listed in this bug report in order to have all fix for this issue [1] [2]. Fixes gnuradio build: [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp: In function ‘std::size_t boost::hash_detail::float_hash_value(T)’: [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp:210:21: error: expected primary-expression before ‘float’ switch (fpclassify(v)) ^ [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp:210:21: error: expected primary-expression before ‘long’ switch (fpclassify(v)) ^ [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp:210:21: error: found ‘:’ in nested-name-specifier, expected ‘::’ switch (fpclassify(v)) ^ [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp:210:21: error: ‘_Float128’ is not a class or namespace switch (fpclassify(v)) ^ [...]/sysroot/usr/include/boost/functional/hash/detail/hash_float.hpp:210:21: error: ‘_Generic’ was not declared in this scope switch (fpclassify(v)) ^ Also backport fix for glibc bug 22146. Without this patch some C++ applications (jsoncpp, mesa3d and kodi) fail to build due to an issue while building the toolchain. A test in the libstdc++ configure script fail when -Os and float128 are used. See the bug report for details [3]. Buildroot is a simple, efficient and easy-to-use tool to generate embedded Linux systems through cross-compilation. The documentation can be found in docs/manual. You can generate a text document with 'make manual-text' and read output/docs/manual/manual.text. Online documentation can be found at http://buildroot.org/docs.html To build and use the buildroot stuff, do the following: 1) run 'make menuconfig' 2) select the target architecture and the packages you wish to compile 3) run 'make' 4) wait while it compiles 5) find the kernel, bootloader, root filesystem, etc. in output/images You do not need to be root to build or run buildroot. Have fun! Buildroot comes with a basic configuration for a number of boards. Run 'make list-defconfigs' to view the list of provided configurations. Please feed suggestions, bug reports, insults, and bribes back to the buildroot mailing list: buildroot@buildroot.org You can also find us on #buildroot on Freenode IRC. If you would like to contribute patches, please read https://buildroot.org/manual.html#submitting-patches
