Peter Seiderer 66868e9fab package/libopenssl: bump version to 1.1.1n
Changes between 1.1.1m and 1.1.1n [15 Mar 2022]

*) Fixed a bug in the BN_mod_sqrt() function that can cause it to loop forever
     for non-prime moduli.

Internally this function is used when parsing certificates that contain
elliptic curve public keys in compressed form or explicit elliptic curve
parameters with a base point encoded in compressed form.

It is possible to trigger the infinite loop by crafting a certificate that
     has invalid explicit curve parameters.

Since certificate parsing happens prior to verification of the certificate
signature, any process that parses an externally supplied certificate may
thus be subject to a denial of service attack. The infinite loop can also
be reached when parsing crafted private keys as they can contain explicit
     elliptic curve parameters.

     Thus vulnerable situations include:

      - TLS clients consuming server certificates
      - TLS servers consuming client certificates
      - Hosting providers taking certificates or private keys from customers
      - Certificate authorities parsing certification requests from subscribers
      - Anything else which parses ASN.1 elliptic curve parameters

Also any other applications that use the BN_mod_sqrt() where the attacker
can control the parameter values are vulnerable to this DoS issue.
     (CVE-2022-0778)
     [Tomáš Mráz]

  *) Add ciphersuites based on DHE_PSK (RFC 4279) and ECDHE_PSK (RFC 5489)
to the list of ciphersuites providing Perfect Forward Secrecy as
     required by SECLEVEL >= 3.

README

Buildroot is a simple, efficient and easy-to-use tool to generate embedded
Linux systems through cross-compilation.

The documentation can be found in docs/manual. You can generate a text
document with 'make manual-text' and read output/docs/manual/manual.text.
Online documentation can be found at http://buildroot.org/docs.html

To build and use the buildroot stuff, do the following:

1) run 'make menuconfig'
2) select the target architecture and the packages you wish to compile
3) run 'make'
4) wait while it compiles
5) find the kernel, bootloader, root filesystem, etc. in output/images

You do not need to be root to build or run buildroot. Have fun!

Buildroot comes with a basic configuration for a number of boards. Run
'make list-defconfigs' to view the list of provided configurations.

Please feed suggestions, bug reports, insults, and bribes back to the
buildroot mailing list: buildroot@buildroot.org
You can also find us on #buildroot on OFTC IRC.
