f1b86cef98 gnutls: make it non-wchar friendly 
Make gnutls work for non-wchar toolchains.
It's just a matter of throwing a helping hand to configure.

6845c4f710 gnutls: requires WCHAR support 
gnutls uses wctomb(), which is available only on C libraries with
wide-char support. This fixes the following build failure:
