The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues
on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings
related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with
the letter a in the package directory.
The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help

We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible.
SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2/LGPLv2+ is LGPL-2.0/LGPL-2.0+.
This change is done using following command.
find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/LGPLv2(\+)?/LGPL-2.0\1/g'

Two separate builds with/without give nothing with:

A lot of packages ignored BR2_ENABLE_DEBUG. This patch simplifies the handling of
this option by adding the corresponding configure option to the global Makefile
for target packages.
For host packages --disable-debug is added to the global Makefile.

Since the trailing slash is stripped from $($(PKG)_SITE) by pkg-generic.mk:
$(call DOWNLOAD,$($(PKG)_SITE:/=)/$($(PKG)_SOURCE))
so it is redundant.
This patch removes it from $(PKG)_SITE variable for BR consistency.

This commit adds a dependency of the libglib2 package on thread
support in the toolchain, since upstream libglib2 doesn't build
without thread support. The commit is rather large as it involves
propagating the dependency on thread support to all reverse
dependencies of the libglib2 package.
[Thomas: squash all patches into one, make a few minor fixes, the most
important one being to not add comments about MMU requirement when a
package doesn't work on !MMU platforms.]

The atk package is used as a dependency in the libglade and libgtk2
packages.
The libglade package has no host variant, and does not depend on
host-atk.
The libgtk2 package depends on atk, and has a host variant, but the
host variant of libgtk2 overrides HOST_LIBGTK2_DEPENDENCIES to limit
the number of dependencies, and host-atk is not amongst those
dependencies.
Therefore, host-atk is useless and can be removed.

ATK is not directly related to X11, and the --with-x, --x-includes,
--x-libraries and --without-x options do not exist.
The --disable-glibtest was duplicated, and is therefore still passed
to the configuration options.

Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the
AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to
repeat its name and the directory in which it is present.

Now that we have libtool-2.2.x patch support, we can get rid of a bunch
of _LIBTOOL_PATH = NO, fixing (potential) cross link issues.
Notice: php not changed, as it uses a very old 1.5 version for the
embedded sqlite, where our buildroot-libtool-v1.5.patch doesn't apply.

gettext needs WCHAR support in the toolchain, and as libglib2 depends on
gettext and lots of stuff depends on libglib2, quite a lot of packages
needs to have their dependencies adjusted.

We have been passing -q to ./configure when using 'make -s' for
packages using Makefile.autotools.in for some time. Do the same
for packages using autotools, but not using the
Makefile.autotools.in infrastructure, taking care to not do it
for packages with hand written configure scripts.

The BR2_PACKAGE_XSERVER_none option has gone, so use BR2_PACKAGE_XORG7
instead. It is more logical to test if BR2_PACKAGE_XORG7 is set to
know if an X.org server is available, than testing if
BR2_PACKAGE_XSERVER_none is set to know if an X.org server is *not*
available.

Move stamp (dependency) files outside the (version specific) source
directories, so other packages can hardcode dependencies on them instead
of having to use <PACKAGE>_VERSION variables.
This is important as the variables in the make rules are evaluated when
the rules is seen, which might be before the dependent makefile is parsed
(and hence <PACKAGE>_VERSION variable is known, screwing up stuff.
The downside of this is that the package isn't automatically rebuilt
when the version changes (E.G. by a svn update) and you now also have to
remove the stamp files next to $(BUILD_DIR)/<PACKAGE>-* to force a rebuild.
This matches upstream tarball, doesn't screw up existing .config's with
BR2_PACKAGE_PKGCONFIG and makes sure the patch gets applied for target
compilation.
