In 785fef10 xattr support was disabled, probably because the old version
did require the xattr package to be present to support it.
In a409d76e xattr support was made optional via (lib)attr, however the
squashfs package does in fact include all of the required bits to
support xattr without the need for the attr package.
So enable xattr support by default for both the host and target
variants.

Adding extended attribute support for the squashfs tools when the attr
package is selected. This is needed for SELinux support.

Since SourceForge sometimes serves us faulty tarballs, we can tons of
autobuild failures:

Fix that by adding hash files for all SourceForge-hosted packages (thos
etht did not already have it).
We normally prefer to use hashes published by upstream, but hunting them
all one by one is a tedious task, so those hashes were all locally
computed with a script that searched for SF-hosted packages, downloades
the associated tarball, computed the hash, and stored it in the
corresponding .hash file.
Also, SF publishes sha1 hashes, while I used the stronger sha256, since
sha1 is now considered to be relatively weak.

If any of the post-image scripts wants to handle squashfs filesystems,
we need to expose an option for squashfs-tools to be user-selectable.

repeat its name and the directory in which it is present.

visible to the user, instead of the hidden selection we used to do in
the makefile.
